    Description

    Prevents crash-to-desktop by removing the sound and visual effects when Ruined-Tail companion summons/unsummons a horse.

    Details

    When Ruined-Tail summons or unsummons a horse, the audio/visual effects very commonly result in a crash-to-desktop.
    The appropriate scripts can be edited to remove the effects, which helps to prevent crash-to-desktop situations.
    Another crash does still occur that this patch doesn't yet fix, when you mount your horse and Ruined-Tail is busy examining a creature that you've just killed.
    You can prevent by watching out for that he's doing when you mount your horse, or you can save before using your horse if you want to be cautious.

    Install

    Place the RTT-horse-patch.esp file in your Data folder with your other plugins.
    Load the patch after RTT.esp

    Uninstall

    1. Start Oblivion Launcher, click Data Files, uncheck the .esp file(s).
    2. Delete the files/folders associated with the mod.
