Details
The Arcane University recently dispatched a team of scholars and excavators to an Ayleid site far to the north...and they have not been heard from since. It is up to you to discover what fate befell these archaeologists.
Mafreseli, or "The Halls of Frost" in the Ayleid tongue, is a dungeon full of traps and treasure. However, none of the enemies or containers respawn, so when it is cleared out, it is yours to keep. This place is filled with secrets, so search well!
The enemies here are NOT leveled, the highest one being level 40. Even with a high-level character, be sure to equip yourself with adequate potions and scrolls.
Mafreseli includes:
- A bed with room for a companion.
- A healing altar similar to the Altar of the Nine.
- A teleportation spell to return whenever desired.
- Enchanting and Spellmaking altars.
- New enchanted armor and weapons. Only one set of armor (worn by two NPCs) requires Roberts Male Body and/or HGEC to work. The other sets cover from head to toe, and may be worn by any body type.
- New items, including special Varla and Welkynd Stones and priceless Ayleid statues.
- New, very bright torches, called "Mafre Latta."
- Many nonrespawning storage containers.
A map marker for Mafreseli will appear on your map when you launch the game. You will need to travel to Dive Rock first, though, as you have not "found" the place yet.
*I highly recommend visiting Mafreseli at night sometime. :) *
*Please post your screenies of your characters at Mafreseli! It would tickle me pink to see them there! :D *
