Crowded Cities Redone - Open Cities Reborn Patch
Update: All cities are functional, all AI packages are working!
Does what it says on the tin. Mixxa77's Crowded Cities Redone is a great mod for making Oblivion's towns busier without suffering the bloat of Better Cities, but it is sadly only semi-compatible with Arthmoor's wonderful Open Cities Reborn. The new houses and buildings exist in the old exterior worldspaces, and most of the Wander AI packages have the new NPCs spending all of their time moving in and out of the AI doors. This mod seeks to make the two mods completely compatible, moving everything into the Tamriel worldspace and fixing up all of the AI packages so that NPCs are never moving in and out of the AI doors.
All cities are now at baseline functionality, and the two new interiors added by the mod are now completed. There are minor deviations from the original mod, but these were made for gameplay/functionality reasons outlined in the Posts section. All NPCs now follow their basic AI packages and make the cities of Cyrodiil feel more alive.
This mod doesn't touch any of the NPCs added to the Imperial City, but it still requires the IC version of Crowded Cities Redone due to issues surrounding FormIDs. If you do not want any new NPC in the Imperial City, a version of the mod is provided with them removed.
An extension to this mod will now be started, working on creating more "interesting" NPCs. This will include more in-depth and personalized AI packages, some dialogue, named NPCs, minor quests and most importantly will have these new NPCs doing more than following basic 'Wander' packages so that they blend more seamlessly into the world.
Thanks to Mixxa77 and Arthmoor for granting me permission to work on this.
