It has been several years now, but I finally added the last piece to the bows puzzle.  The bow finally costs magicka to use, as originally intended.  Older, magicka free versions, are still available.  
  
Akaviri Elements Bow version: 2.0  
  
Note: you are free to view, edit, and reuse any parts of the script for this bow as you see fit.  A true challange would be converting this script to Skyrim's Papyrus scripting, I've tried and failed, you might have more luck though.  Enjoy.  
  
The Bow is located in the ruins of Vilverin in the first section.  Go down the stairs and into the main room.  Go too the right and it is inside the room at the end of the short side passage, on top of a table.  
  
This mod requires nothing but Oblivion too work.  No other mod or addon required.  
  
The Akaviri Elements Bow summons its own arrows once equipped, for a small amount of magicka.  Each arrow has a different spell effect.  The spell effects are as follows.  
  
Dragon's Breath: Fire Damage  
Arctic Wind: Frost Damage  
Viper Bite: Poison Effect  
Hammer Blow: Normal Damage + visual spell effect  
Thunder: Electric Damage  
Void: Soul Trap  
Vampire's Kiss: Life Steal(half of damage caused)  
  
As your character Levels up, the strength of the arrows increases for every 5 levels gained.  The level cap for the bow is set too 41, but any level your character reaches higher then that is still registered by the script.  
  
The Arrows are ballanced too be about the same as the arrows you would find at the same level.  Even the magic effect arrows are ballanced too do about the same damage as a normal arrow of the same level.  
  
Known bugs:  
  
1: The arrow selection sometimes resets, still.  Usually when you load a saved game.  May happen other times while you are playing.  Seems too be an issue dealing with how the script is handled by the exe.  And the fact that all variables are handled internally in the script.  
  
2: The Bow is the same as one used already in the game(Ebony bow).  I don't know how too make custom models and don't have the software too do so.    
  
3: In the construction set, the script is a bit bloated, due to being a single script, and does not like to load easily for editing.  You will have to load it directly with the script editor, not via the casterlongbownew item menu.  
  
Change for v2.0  
  
The bow now uses Magicka to summon the arrows.  If your magicka pool runs too low, the bow will stop summoning arrows.  Since all the features of the bow are script controlled, I had to use a work around to actually accomplish the magicka cost.  For now, the bow uses the same amount of magicka to summon all arrows, 8 magicka per arrow.  The balance might require a bit of adjusting yet.  
  
Change for v1.3  
  
I moved the bow too an earlier location in the dungeon.  You still need too fight a few bandits too get too it but at least you do not have too clear the whole dungeon anymore.  
  
Bugfixes for v1.2  
  
1: Changed the starting level arrows and the bow's model so that they no longer used models from either of the two expansions.  Seemed I was using ones from Knights of the Nine by mistake.  
  
2: Modified the enchantment on the Hammer Blow arrow so that it hopefully doesn't effect other creatures nearby the target anymore.  Was a typo in the enchantment that I had in place during development that I had forgotten too fix.  
  
Bugfixes for v1.1  
  
1: Modified the script too remove the message spam by setting a minimum of 2 arrows too be in the inventory at all times so the arrows stay equipped when being fired.  This stopped the "item equipped" message from being posted every time an arrow is fired.  
  
2: Used a custom container too add the arrows too, then dump them into the players inventory too avoid the "item added" message.

I'de appreciate any feedback on how you think the damage and/or cost of each arrow should be adjusted.    
  
Would be grateful too anyone willing too donate a custom bow that would look good as the Akaviri Elements Bow.  Credit will go too the models creator for the bow its self.  
  
Note: I'm trying too keep this bow as balanced with what is available too the player at each level as I can.
