Important Stuff: *  With version 2.0 and above, the vanilla mod is now a requirement for all optional mods. The vanilla mod contains the enchantments needed for the bonus.
Warning:  If you remove this mod or the optional components while wearing power armor in a saved game, the carry weight bonus may remain applied to your character. Be sure to exit any PA, then save your game prior to removing this or any mod that changes carry weight (backpacks have similar problems).  If you believe your carry weight was impacted after removing this mod, simply enter / exit any suit of Power Armor as this should reset your carry weight to expected.  Also see the following article: Correcting Corrupted Carry weightUpdates:

4/20/2024 - Added optional mail file with increased carry bonuses, choose only 1 main file.  Added some requested compatibility patches for more PA mods.

4/9/2022 - An optional file was uploaded 4/7/2022 but then hidden as I became concerned it was not working as intended.  There are no updated files at this time.

Updated 3/18/2022 to v 2.0 - I concluded that my method of implementing the bonus was not the best approach.   I've rewritten the mod and optional files using a better approach.  The old versions should work ok with regard to the warning above; however, I recommend uninstalling the v1 mod/options and installing v2 mod/options as the old version will not be supported moving on.  If updating an active game, be sure you exit power armor and save your game prior to removing old versions and installing the new versions.

Updated File: The optional PA_Immersive_Carry_Weight_EnclaveX2 for the Enclave X-02 Power Armor was updated to v 2.1, v2.0 did not work at all.

Mod Description:
The carry weight on Power Armor is abysmal as compared to normal armor enhancements, backpacks and such.   A massive mechanized suit capable of surviving drops from untold heights should have a carrying capacity far higher than  modded combat armor with a backpack.  

Similar mods  available on the Nexus  offer a brute force approach and make one-time increases to carry weight. This mod implements a progressive approach with the assumption that each model is better than the prior model and each family better than the prior family.  

The carry weight increases as the model increases and increases further across PA family lines. The bonus from the 'Motion-Assist' and 'Calibrated Shocks' upgrades increases in a similar fashion with more carry weight added as the PA is upgraded and increased further
across PA family lines.   All increases are added to existing values, so any benefit should stack with mods that might touch the same PA attributes/values.

* T45 retains the original vanilla 'Motion-Assist' and 'Calibrated-Shocks' settings that were applied to all vanilla models.

There are several optional patch files (all esl tagged) to extend this approach to the following user created power armor mods.  Increases are the same as with the X01 armor for the non X-## mods, all X-## mods use X02(cc)  values.  These optional files provided as is, as I do not run all of the following mods.  Please post if you have issues with any of these optional files and i will try to fix.

For tracking and managing power armor, I recommend Find My Power Armors.  This mod has an option to dispatch settlers to retrieve sets of Power Armor.
