All of the major factions (and even some minor ones) have a distinct aesthetic with regards to the armor/outfits they use, with one exception -- Scavengers. Despite being so prominent, their gear is not all that different from settlers, wastelanders, and other common citizens. From a certain perspective, this makes sense, as Scavengers are common citizens themselves and virtually everyone in a post-apocalyptic world would have to do some scavenging in order to survive. For the Scavenger faction, though, scavenging and scrounging seems to be more than just a survival tactic. It is a lifestyle, perhaps even a calling, as the Scavenger faction even has unique dialog associated with what they do. Given all that, one would think this pastime would trickle into the gear they employ. **Grease Rat Scavengers** seeks to do exactly that by outfitting the Scavenger faction with the armor/outfits from Tinuvia's fantastic [Grease Rat Garbs](https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/45813).  
  
**Grease Rat Scavengers** does not touch the LL\_Scavenger\_Outfit leveled list, so other NPCs and groups that use it will not be affected by this mod. Instead, it redirects the default outfit used by NPCs spawned via LvlScavenger, LvlScavengerFemale, and LvlScavengerMale to a set of custom leveled lists that draw on the armor/outfits from **Grease Rat Garbs**.  
  
**Compatibility**  
This mod will almost certainly conflict with other mods that overhaul the Scavenger faction, such as Gerren0's [Unique Scavs](https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/74069), SKK50's [Scavver faction RedRocket workshops](https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/51448), and the like. I will not make patches for such mods, as their authors had a specific aesthetic in mind for Scavengers when they made those mods, just as I had a specific aesthetic in mind for Scavengers when I made this mod. If anyone else wants to make compatibility patches, though, they are welcome to do so.  
  
Conversely, this mod is entirely compatible with my [Diverse Scavengers](https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/77358) mod, which was active for the screen shots.
