NPC Weapon Pickup Tweaks

Ever notice that sometimes NPCs like Raiders or even your companions will sometimes inexplicably run during a firefight to pick up a gun from the corpse of another dead NPC, even if they already have a weapon of their own? This causes NPCs to make poor choices that get them killed sometimes, by running across the battlefield to a corpse that has what they reckon is a better gun, even if they're already holding a perfectly viable weapon in their hands. Worse still, while they're doing the pick-up animations, they're also sitting ducks, so it really does them more harm than good.
Not to mention your companions also trying to do the same, despite that cool-looking mod-added weapon you gave them.
With that in mind, this mod is an attempt to minimize that. NPCs will still pick up weapons at times, such as if you disarm them by shooting their gun or crippling their arms, they'll still try to pick up a nearby suitable weapon. If they can't find one, they'll charge at you with a melee attack (similar to a desperate person about to die IRL).
But it really should reduce the chance of your companion running into a bunch of enemies just to pick up a some gun, among other things.
Install:
Extract into your data folder. Use 7-zip (free) or a similar program to extract. Enable via the Game Launcher or your favorite mod manager.
Uninstall:
Simply delete the file, or just deactivate if you think you want to use it again in the future. The game should reset the game settings by itself if you load or start a new game without this mod, if I'm not mistaken.
