DESCRIPTION**
This mod replaces many of the map marker icons with the icon style used in the 48 minute gameplay reveal from 2018. The old icons were still in the game files, all I did was copy them over into the release icons file. None of the icons used in this mod were created by me; all credit goes to the UI designers at CD Projekt RED.

Beyond resembling the 2018 demo, these icons provide a cleaner and less obtrusive look than the release icons. They also help the map feel less overwhelming by reducing the number of different icon types (the same icon is used for all markers of a general type).

While using this mod, you will not be able to tell the type of gig or NCPD scanner hustle by the icon used. You can still see the type of mission by hovering over the icon.

Markers on both the map itself and the HUD (floating markers) are affected.

Comprehensive list of changes:

• All quest markers (including main quests, side quests, and every type of gig) have been changed to a badge-shaped icon

• All NCPD scanner hustle markers have been changed to question marks

• The dialogue marker (occasionally seen when near an NPC with dialogue) has been modified

• The drop point marker has been modified

• The fast travel marker has been modified

• The custom map marker (when you select a location with no existing marker) has been modified

• The "undiscovered" marker has been modified slightly (it's still a question mark)

• (As of 1.1) Removed pulsing animation on HUD markers

As this mod only changes the icon images, the color of the icons will not change unless you use another mod. I highly recommend 2018 - 2019 --- Beta UI-HUD Colors by elaymm4 (use the 2018 version to get the most "authentic" look).

INSTALLATIONExtract the "archive" folder into your Cyberpunk 2077 root installation folder. It really is that simple.
