As of v1.2, the script will now detect if you are in (most) menus and will not display the crosshair if you are in a menu
A supplementary add-on, designed to eliminate most crosshairs from scopes, is accessible on the Preem Scopes mod page. This add-on was developed with the help of u/TheCyanideX, the creator of ‘Preem Scopes’, and utilizes their mod as a foundation. That’s why it’s hosted on their page, not mine. You can locate the file in the ‘Miscellaneous’ section of their mod page. For optimal use with this mod, I recommend installing both the main file and this add-on, along with any other desired files from their mod.

Installation:* Install required mod (CET)

Usage Instructions:* Launch game and open CET with your overlay keybind (you should have set this the first time you launched the game after installing CET)

  • Go to the "Bindings" menu in the CET overlay and setup a keybind for this mod's window
  • Adjust the placement of the window, as well as the scale and color of the font
  • Close CET overlay, then open this mod's window with the keybind you just set for it... The crosshair (+) will be in the exact same position as it was with CET open, but everything else will be transparent (or gone completely)...
  • The script will save all of your settings (including the window being opened) and will apply them all on game launches

Uninstallation:

  • Delete the "CET Crosshair Overlay" folder from your [CP77>bin>x64>plugins>CET>mods] folder

Note:

  • The crosshair gets quite blurry at larger font scales... This is due to the fact that it is literally just scaling the size, not adjusting the resolution of the font...

  • The position of the crosshair is setup to be centered (or at least really close to it) at a 1080p resolution by default (with the default crosshair icon selection)... Of course, it can be moved anywhere, though...

Sidenote:

  • As of v1.35, this mod now includes support for toggling the visibility of it's window in CET overlay with my CET Mod Window Hider Tool mod... This does not affect the actual usable crosshair overlay that you open with this mod's custom keybind... It will still open with the main window hidden...
