**[Update 1.9: Added icons for White Mage (1 subclass), Dragonball Warrior (6 subclasses) and Ancient Saiyan Warrior (3 subclasses)!**]****

Icons for Modded Subclasses

There are plenty of mods out there that adds a new subclass into the game, and I thoroughly enjoy all of them. However, there are some that lack a subclass icon, instead having only a generic, uninteresting skull icon to show in the selection screen. Me having a bit of OCD and having a bone to pick with the skulls (heh), I decided to try making custom icons for them all!

This mod adds custom, theme-fitting, AI-generated icons to most subclass mods available on Nexus!

~~I know there are some mods out there that I did not make an icon for, but those should all be homebrew subclasses. I enjoy keeping a full collection of subclasses that either originated from D&D 5E or made by authors I enjoy. You can request for an icon for a subclass to be added in the comments, but no promise I will add it.~~This mod originally only covered official D&D 5E and UA subclasses, but I've been enjoying making these, so I've been taking on all the requests, and now many homebrew subclasses and even classes are covered as well. Check my pinned post for any upcoming icons, and feel free to put in any request for anything that is missing from here.

With that said, here is a list of all subclasses with new icons added]: (You can see their respective icons in the gallery above.)

You don't need to have all subclasses mentioned above for this mod to function. However, ImprovedUI Assets is required.

This is my first time using Stable Diffusion AI to generate images, and also because it's AI, so I will be honest with you that they are not perfect. In fact, I'd say a few of them are mediocre or even bad if you feel like being harsh. This is mostly simply to serve as somewhat of a placeholder until the mod authors eventually maybe add a proper, artist-made icon for their mods.

Load Order: Anywhere in the load order will be fine! I personally recommend putting it on top of your subclasses, so that if the mod authors added official icons in their mods those can overwrite mine - so you can see their icons without waiting for me to update. It also prevents this mod from overwriting other unintended subclasses' icons that share the same name, like Alternate Monk's Sun Soul. It's up to your personal use!

To the Mod Authors: If you like the icon included here and would like to include it in your mod instead of here, feel free to contact me! I would happily give you the icons for more users to see.

Known Issue(s):

  • Mastermind's icon is blank: ImprovedUI Assets has a Mastermind icon but for Rogues Extra which does not of course apply to yoshi's one, but it's also causing my icon to not show. Fixing it would require the author to change the name in their mod which I can't do without reuploading their mod. Inquisitive may have the same issue.- If you're willing and capable to edit both my mod and their subclass mods yourself, you can change the icons name in my mod from "Mastermind.DDS" to another name. Then, in the subclass mod folder, edit the ClassDescriptions.lsx in Public > Mastermind > ClassDescriptions so that the "Name" attribute also uses the same name that you just named the icons.

Credits to KiderionLykon for their Baldur's Gate 3 Class Icons Generator! Without it this would not be possible at all.

Don't see a subclass in the list? That may be because it already has an icon, but did not utilize ImprovedUI Assets. Check out my Custom Subclass Icon and Compatibility Framework Fixes for patches that implement ImprovedUI Assets support for those subclasses.
