DETAILS - MAIN MOD  
This mod makes Bardic Inspiration and Combat Inspiration an area of effect. This mod also adds a healing bonus to both.  
  
The advantage of adding native healing is that it allows Bardic Inspiration to benefit from the passives provided by healing proc equipment. This healing effect stacks with the healing from [Cap of Curing](https://bg3.wiki/wiki/Cap_of_Curing) which does not naturally proc most healing effects.

DETAILS - REGENERATIVE BARDIC INSPIRATION  
  
Spoiler:  ShowThis addon makes Bardic Inspiration and Combat Inspiration grant a health regeneration effect each round during combat.  
  
You can combine this mod with the main mod as well as most other Bard related mods. The only record changed is the status effect portion of Bardic Inspiration and Combat Inspiration, not the actions that share the same name.  
  
Make tactical choices during battle. Do you consume your Bardic Inspiration buff or continue to receive healing each round?  
  
Bardic Inspiration and Combat Inspiration scale as follows:  
* Lv1: 1d4 healing each round
* Lv5: 1d6 healing each round
* Lv10: 1d8 healing each round
  
  
  
INSTALLATION  
All versions of this mod have been fully tested on Vortex with a new campaign using Vulkan. Other mod managers and clients may work.  
  
Suggested installation order:  
  
* Any combat or Bard class addons.
* Your preferred version of the main mod on this page.
* Any addons you'd like to use from this page.

  
  
COMPATIBILITY  
This mod is not compatible with mods that change the combat parameters of Bardic Inspiration. You may place my mods below others if you'd like to use the versions provided by this mod.

TROUBLESHOOTING - GENERAL CHECKLIST  
* Ensure you have the installed [Requirements](https://www.nexusmods.com/baldursgate3/mods/2937?tab=description)﻿and you are using the correct load order.
* Ensure you are launching from Vortex (or your preferred mod manager) regardless of whether you use install as a PAK or as a loose version.
* Ensure another mod isn't overwriting my changes. Load my mod after theirs.
* If a version of my mod does not work with your existing save, try a new campaign. If this works, then that means this mod is not compatible with your save state. [Lslib](https://github.com/Norbyte/lslib/releases)﻿ does have a save state cleaner, but it's unlikely to solve your issue. A new game or a different version are the main solutions.
* Leave a comment if you still cannot get it work at all. I'll respond to [Bugs](https://www.nexusmods.com/baldursgate3/mods/1462?tab=bugs)﻿ as best I can. Note that Vortex does tell mod page owners what files you downloaded. I'll know if you didn't install a requirement \*evil laugh\* but I assume this isn't 100% accurate all the time.

  
  
TROUBLESHOOTING - AFTER A PATCH OR HOTFIX  
Read the [Sticky﻿](https://www.nexusmods.com/baldursgate3/mods/2937?tab=posts) and [Bugs](https://www.nexusmods.com/baldursgate3/mods/2937?tab=bugs) to see if an issue has been flagged. If not, please try the following as your first steps:  
  
* Deactivate all of your mods in your mod manager.
* If you have any loose files installed under the *Baldurs Gate 3/Data/Public* folder, temporarily move those. Typically, only mod creators have to do this.
* Run the game and do a test. Make sure everything is "normal". Make a new save file - don't overwrite your old one.
* Reinstall my mods first and then run the game again to see if this fixes the issue. Test the new save. If there's still an issue, test a new game.
* If one of those works, you can then proceed with loading other mods (and loose files) and test to see if there are any further issues.
* The end goal is to be able to play your old save with *as many of your original mods installed as possible*. If you have to continue your game without a previously installed mod, be aware that it could cause a myriad of issues down the line. Proceed with caution!
