Why don't you use Vortex?  
* Why use vortex when [BG3 Mod Manager](https://github.com/LaughingLeader/BG3ModManager)﻿. Unless you like bloat and trash.  
If you're having an issue and use vortex I cannot repro that. Vortex adds way too much junk.
